Meet Maria & Jesus
M&J Tacos is a family-owned catering business founded by Maria and Jesus right here in San Pedro, California. What started as cooking for friends and family quickly grew into something much bigger — a catering operation that has served thousands of guests across Southern California over the past two decades.
Maria and Jesus built this business from the ground up with nothing but hard work, authentic family recipes, and a deep passion for feeding people well. Every taco, every salsa, every side dish is made with the same care and pride as the very first event they ever catered.
Today, M&J Tacos serves weddings, quinceañeras, corporate events, birthday parties, family reunions, and everything in between — bringing the warmth and flavor of authentic Mexican food to every table we set up.
What We Do
Authentic Tacos, Any Occasion
We bring a full taco catering setup directly to your event — a live grill, a complete taco bar with all the toppings, and a team that handles everything from setup to cleanup. You focus on your guests, we handle the food.
Choose 3 or more of our signature proteins — Carne Asada, Pollo, Al Pastor, Carnitas, Chorizo, or our slow-braised premium Birria — served with corn and flour tortillas, fresh house-made salsas, guacamole, rice, beans, and all the fixings.
